We’ve added some awesome new features which we know you’ll love! With Dream you can now accept Interac Flash, swipe non-emv credit cards and accept Visa and MasterCard Gift Cards. We’ve also added a card reader connection notification, improved the login process and added a couple new reports for you on your Web Dashboard.


Accept Interac Flash


Now you can accept Interac Flash (contactless debit payments). Customers can pay by tapping their Interac debit card or Apple Pay on your Dream card reader. As always, keep in mind that all contactless payments are limited to under $100. If the customer tries to tap for a payment $100 or more, they’ll simply be asked to insert their card and enter their PIN so your sale is never at risk. 

Accept Visa & Mastercard Gift Cards


We now support VISA and Mastercard gift cards as well as foreign credit cards. These are Visa and Mastercard Credit cards that only have a magnetic strip and no chip. Therefore, with these cards your customer will simply swipe them on your card reader. You will be prompted on your mobile app to collect your customer's signature before providing them with a receipt.

New Dashboard Reports


We've added two new reports:
The Sales Tax Report provides a summary of taxes collected for a period time and includes details such as Tax Name & Rate, Taxable Sales, and Net Tax Calculated. 
The Product Catalog Report provides a summary of products and services from your catalog that were sold, returned or refunded, allowing you to see how each product is performing.

Fallback to Swipe


We've now added the ability to Fallback to Swipe. If ever there is a problem with reading the chip during a Chip & PIN or contactless transaction, your Card Reader will automatically prompt your customer to swipe their card. Just remember to ensure you capture your customers signature in the app before you send them a receipt.

Device Connection Notification


We’ve added a simple notification during the checkout process to alert you if your card reader is not connected.  During checkout the app will perform a check and display a warning message if it detects that your card reader is not connected. To connect your device, simply tap the menu, and tap “Scan for Card Reader”.

Improved Login Process


We've fixed the problem which required some users to login to the mobile app after short periods of inactivity.
