Dream Payments Unveils Partnership With Intuit QuickBooks Online
Dream Payments unveiled that they are partnering with Intuit Canada last week as a keynote announcement at Payments Canada’s Payments Panorama. "Dream and Intuit have partnered to put time and money back into the hands of businesses across Canada,” shared Christian Ali, Chief Marketing Officer of Dream Payments. "By bringing together Dream’s innovative mobile point of sale solution, and Intuit’s powerful cloud accounting platform, Dream and Intuit are simplifying the most complex aspects of running a small business: payment processing and accounting. For the first time businesses will be able to accept Interac® debit as well as credit card payments and have the transactions automatically flow into QuickBooks Online.”
Dream is the first and only EMV Chip & PIN solution than accepts Interac® debit as well as credit cards that can be purchased off the shelf. A person can walk into a Telus location purchase the Dream card reader, register and start accepting card payments in under 20 minutes.
Intuit QuickBooks is the number one accounting software provider in the world. Tens of thousands of businesses across Canada rely on QuickBooks for their accounting and business needs, including invoicing, inventory management and payroll. Soon those same businesses will be able to use Quickbooks Online (QBO) and Dream Payments seamlessly together. If a business is already using QBO then they simply purchase the Dream card reader, download the app and register. When they sign in to the Dream mobile app they can easily link their Dream and QBO accounts and it’s as simple as that.
When they accept a payment whether it’s Interac® debit, credit card, Apple Pay or even cash, the transaction will automatically be recorded in their accounting software (QBO) in real-time. Even their inventory and tax details are updated. Whether it’s an existing Dream business, QuickBooks user or a new business starting from scratch, it only takes minutes to setup.
"There are a few good solutions out there, but they’re incomplete and siloed which means it takes more time to reconcile across those solutions. Working together Dream and Intuit are providing a complete end to end cloud solution to businesses across Canada that not only makes it easier for them to run their business, it gives them back hours of valuable and precious time," explained Mr. Ali.
The solution will be available in market by early 2017.
